About this skill

Baoyu XHS Images breaks an article or a topic into a series of one to ten illustrated cards sized for Xiaohongshu. Each series is defined by a style and a layout: twelve visual styles, eight layouts and an optional palette override such as soft macaron tones.

You invoke it as a slash command on a Markdown file or on pasted text, with flags for style, layout, palette and presets. A non-interactive mode skips confirmation questions, which makes it usable in scheduled jobs. Rendering follows the rest of the baoyu collection: native image generation inside Codex, and elsewhere a shared backend skill that can call OpenAI’s GPT Image models, Google, OpenRouter, DashScope, Jimeng, Seedream or Replicate.

A series of 3:4 Xiaohongshu information cards.

Before you install: Outside Codex, an image API key in ~/.baoyu-skills/.env. Needs Node (runs through npx bun).
